If you don’t own a passport from any of the below countries then you must apply for a non-immigrant visa. If you live in one of the below countries but do not have a valid passport and citizenship then you are not eligible to travel. You must put the country you have a citizenship for on your application.
Papua New Guinea
Republic of Cyprus
United Kingdom (Includes England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland)
If you are a full citizen of any of the above countries then you are eligible to enter Canada for leisure, business or transit.
If you have a dual citizenship you can put both citizenship details on your application, ensure that you put an eligible passport as your main citizenship when you apply.
If you are a U.S. citizen then you do not require an eTA to travel to cross the border.
